Lazio came from behind to defeat Cagliari 2–1 on 1 November. M’Bala Nzola gave the visitors a 20th-minute lead following a fast break, before Gustav Isaksen equalised after 36 minutes from a Tijjani Noslin assist. ESPN’s match record.

The winner did not arrive until the 83rd minute, when Andrea Pinamonti headed in from close range from Alfonso Pedraza’s delivery. Cagliari’s Adam Obert then received a second booking in the first minute of stoppage time. Lazio’s scoring comeback was therefore complete before the visitors went down to ten.

ESPN records Lazio possession at 73.7 per cent, but the gap in attempts was narrower: 11 to nine, with four on target to three. That contrast makes the late header central to the account of the match. The hosts had a large share of the ball but still needed a decisive finish late in the second half to turn it into a winning score.
