Al Gharafa host Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadsiah on Monday, 2 November, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite. The Qatari club are seeking their first points after three defeats, while their visitors remain unbeaten. AFC’s official preview sets out those contrasting starting positions.
An unbeaten record still includes two draws
The pre-match season standings show Gharafa with three goals scored and six conceded, but no points. Qadsiah have five points from one win and two draws, with four goals scored and three conceded. Their unbeaten label should therefore not be confused with a perfect winning record.
Kick-off is listed for 20:15 in Jerusalem, corresponding to 21:15 in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, on the match record. A Qadsiah win would move them to eight points, while a Gharafa victory would open their account with three. Those are the possible arithmetic outcomes before the match; neither the result nor qualification has been decided. The encounter offers Gharafa a chance to stop their losing sequence and Qadsiah an opportunity to turn an unbeaten start into another victory.
