Joan Laporta criticised Real Madrid’s stance toward LaLiga and football institutions while backing Javier Tebas, ESPN reported on 19 October.
His comments followed Madrid’s call for the league president to resign and came ahead of the 25 October Clásico. They represent Barcelona’s president’s position in an administrative dispute, not a change to competition rules or either club’s status.
